BLOCKVERSE is the first draft of the Minecraft video. It began as a laid-back boombap cut about my kids relentlessly campaigning to get me into Minecraft. Then the idea landed: what if I tumble into their blocky world myself, on camera? That called for something harder — the video got a hip-hop × dubstep hybrid, and this chill original got parked underground. Somewhere below sits the version that almost was.
