EXCAVARA // PRESS KIT
EXCAVARA is a browser and mobile music game where a song is buried underground: you dig down through the earth and every layer unlocks another stem, until the whole track plays at the core.
EXCAVARA is an independent music platform disguised as a mining game. An artist buries a track as a world: the song's stems become strata, the artwork becomes the walls, and whatever the artist chooses becomes the collectibles hidden in the rock.
You start at the surface with a muffled signal and dig. Every stem arrives at its own depth, so the mix opens up as you sink, and the full track only plays in the vault at the core. Along the way the artist talks to you through the rock: relics, photographs, texts on your phone, a signature cut into the wall.
Twenty-four tracks from nine artists are in the ground, each with its own world, collectibles and trophies, and a limited on-chain edition for the first excavators to reach the bottom. It runs in any browser, on desktop and on a phone, with nothing to install.

Please keep the wordmark on a dark background and leave the V in its amber. Screenshots and footage on this page may be used freely in coverage of EXCAVARA. The music and artwork in each drop belong to their artists; the game may be shown, the tracks may not be redistributed on their own.
